Consultation

The portrait process begins with a pre-shoot consultation to discuss and agree upon the mood and background of the portrait. The clothing, setting and where the portrait will be displayed in your home will also be considered. Each portrait is carefully thought out with careful insight, taking the personality of the subjects into consideration.

There is no cost or obligation to you for the pre-shoot consultation. This is an opportunity to chat with the portrait artist about your needs and vision. An in-person visit to our studio will help us best serve you and your needs, although if necessary this can also be accomplished via phone.

Session

Your session can be done anywhere that is special to you.  On-location and at-home portraits are available, although a visit to your home or the location prior to the shoot is often necessary to determine lighting conditions. We highly recommend in-studio shoots or sessions in the gardens of our renowned President's House.

Selecting Your Portraits

Previewing the portraits is exciting. Your portrait reveal will take place at our studio a few days after the session. For out-of-town clients, we are able to schedule same-day previews if necessary. 

Ordering your finished portraits would be concluded at this appointment. It is our pleasure to provide artist-selected framing which is provided in some of our portrait categories. Delivery is also a complimentary service should you desire our assistance. Our collectors, whether returning or new clients, will receive our full care and attention.
